DittmarDesign LLC is owned by graphic designer, Meredith Dittmar, who has worked as a communications professional for more than 20 years. Core competencies include:
- Marketing and communications strategic planning and development
- Branding strategy, development, and management
including logo design - Website design, planning, development, and maintenance
- Presentations, and publications design and layout
- Project management, quality assurance
- Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Writing, editing, and proofreading
- Illustration
After earning a BA in Art from the University of NH, Meredith moved to the Washington, DC area where she has enjoyed a career in graphic design for more than 20 years. In the late 80s, Meredith worked on DoD contracts before landing a contract job at NASA Headquarters. While there, she supervised a graphic design team for more than 5 years. After a round of NASA layoffs in the early 90s, Meredith teamed up with a colleague to form Colorado Design Associates, a graphic design firm in Northwest DC. For the next decade, Meredith continued to hone her craft as she built relationships with DC area service providers and clients.
Meredith is now owner of DittmarDesign LLC, a visual communications company located in Northern Virginia. Specialties include presentation and publications design and layout, corporate branding, website design, and illustration. Her goal is to draw from a network of trusted communications professionals and form strategic partnerships, to work together for the benefit of our clients…remembering always to enjoy the creative process and have fun!
Between 2007 and 2009, Meredith served as chair of the Communications Council of the Arlington (VA) Chamber of Commerce. Holding its first meeting in June 2007, the Council became a beneficial forum for communications professionals and the Arlington Chamber. Under Meredith’s leadership, the Council won the Arlington Chamber’s “Best Committee of the Year” for 2007.
